In spite of this relatively mild Minnesota winter, the thought of visiting a place that’s always warm and has sunny skies over beaches is definitely appealing.  Our team is extremely honored and excited to be invited to present and participate at this year’s AFCOM Data Center World to be held in Los Angeles, CA April 3-7 at the Greater LA Convention Center.

Parallel has been asked to present two topics at this prestigious conference.  Mark Bonde will discuss Data Center Physical Security: Integrating Technology and Process to Reduce Risks on Tuesday, April 4 from 1:15-2:15pm.  This presentation articulates how to merge Physical Security practice into data center assessment, design, implementation, and operational expertise.

Tim Kittila has also been invited to present the topic addressing Active-Active data center architecture to provide higher availability, redundancy and reliability to business processes.  This topic demonstrates Parallel’s competency in the facilities and construction (power and cooling), but also in the IT and application side of operations.   Tim is scheduled to give his presentation on Thursday, April 6 from  9:15-10:15am

In addition to these two presentations, Parallel will also have a corner booth with other team members in the Exhibit Hall where Tim, Mark, and additional team members will be meeting AFCOM attendees and sharing how we can provide complete solutions for their Reliable Data Centers and Intelligent Buildings.

If you are able to attend Data Center World, be sure to stop by our booth (#639) and say hello!  Follow us on social media for pictures and updates before, during, and after the event.
