On Tuesday evening, April 8, 34 people filled an Xcel Energy Center Suite to capacity and witnessed the MN Wild hockey team take on the Boston Bruins. The game was won in a final shoot-out, giving event attendees good reason to celebrate. Most of the 30+ fans were clients, joined by their Parallel Account Managers and representation from one of Parallel’s partnerships, Tegile.

Parallel’s own Brent Knight pointed out that Tegile’s storage platform (interestingly enough) runs the Xcel Energy Center. Many of the attendees are current Tegile users who offered valuable insight to those who are interested in developing better storage solutions.

Before the game, event participants had the opportunity to meet with the Wild IT staff (who knew that IT professionals are WILD?) for a one-on-one, providing a noteworthy exchange of ideas between peer groups.

Then it was on to the hockey game – a real thriller for Wild fans (everyone knew that Minnesota fans are WILD!). Guests and hosts enjoyed delicious food and beverages while cheering on the pride of this, “Land of Two Seasons: Winter is Coming & Winter is Here.”

One Parallel client stated, “The Wild Bruins game was a real nail biter for the first and third period through the shootout. It was a very fun win. I had a great time hanging out with the PTnet sales engineers along with mutual customers.”

Thank you to all who attended, making this event a huge success! We appreciate the chance to give back to our clients — a great time was had by all — which was confirmed by Knight’s whole-hearted final comment, “It was fun.”
