Wisnieski to oversee delivery of building automation projects out of the Omaha-Neb. office

MINNEAPOLIS – April 11, 2019 – Parallel Technologies, an industry-leading reliable data center and intelligent building solutions company, has promoted Tim Wisnieski to Operations Manager. Based out of the company’s Omaha-Neb. office, Wisnieski will oversee the delivery of building automation projects that improve energy efficiency, reduce costs and integrate disparate building control systems.

In his new role as Operations Manager, Wisnieski is responsible for ensuring high client satisfaction through projects that are delivered on time and on budget. Reporting to Chris McPartland, General Manager of Parallel Technologies’ Building Automation business, Wisnieski will also be tasked with driving continuous improvements in processes and standards, maintaining the strong culture of the 30-person Omaha office and overseeing planned office expansion.

“Building automation projects have a lot of moving parts that require someone who understands the complexity but can also navigate the process,” said McPartland. “Over the past two years, I have worked closely with Tim and have been very impressed with his ability to manage a large number of projects, communicate effectively internally and externally, understand the various elements of projects and most importantly to stay positive when working to solve problems. As we continue to grow, his abilities, skills and experience will be a key component of our success.”

Wisnieski joined Parallel Technologies in 2017 when the company acquired Omaha-based Building Systems Solutions. As a sales engineer, he wore many hats including estimator, presales engineer and project manager. During his tenure at Parallel Technologies he oversaw several large projects including the Omaha Valmont building controls upgrade, Lund Landmark building ongoing controls upgrade and USDA campus controls upgrade.

Prior to joining Building Systems Solutions, Wisnieski spent five years with Bellevue, Neb.-based KPE Consulting Engineers. In his role as an Electrical EIT, he was involved in electrical design, estimation, and project management for multiple clients.

Wisnieski earned his undergraduate degree in Architectural Engineering with an emphasis on electrical and mechanical systems from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

He resides in Omaha, Neb., with his wife and four children.
