Treena Coleman brings client-side experience to company’s growing security business

MINNEAPOLIS – April 9, 2019 – Parallel Technologies, an industry-leading reliable data center and intelligent building solutions company, continues to expand its physical security delivery team with the recent addition of Treena Coleman as a Security Systems Engineer.

An industry veteran, Coleman joins Parallel Technology with two decades of experience developing, implementing and managing physical security systems within Fortune 500 facilities. In her role as a Security Systems Engineer, Coleman will be lead strategy development and implementation of physical security projects involving access control and video surveillance.

Coleman joins Parallel Technologies after more than a decade at Abbott Laboratories (formerly St. Jude Medical). In her most recent role as a Global Security Integration Specialist, Coleman managed security operations on a 24×7 basis and provided oversight for the company’s access control, badging, security system functionality and safety processes across facilities in seven countries. An accomplished strategist, she conducted site security assessments, including those for new acquisitions and managed action item completion on a global level in order to maintain the highest level of site security.

She joined St. Jude Medical in 2005 as an Infrastructure Engineer and served as the project lead for the company’s domestic/international facilities for access control, video management systems as well as I/T for server, WAN and LAN connectivity. She was promoted to her most recent position in 2012.

She began her career at Assurant Inc. within its Shared Business Services division. As a technical analyst/system administer for nearly a decade, she served as project manager and lead resources for UNIX server consolidation engagements. The scope of her responsibilities included an upgrade of HP OpenView NNM AE and TelAlert as well as integration of TelAlert with HP Openview Service Desk and NNM.

Coleman is a resident of Somerset, Wisc.
