Parallel Technologies, an industry-leading facilities and IT infrastructure company, has hired Jeff Jungers as a project manager. Working within its Building Infrastructure business, Jungers will manage the day-to-day tasks for complex, large-scale infrastructure projects.

“In today’s intelligent buildings, it is essential for IT and facilities to work together to deliver superior results,” explains Norm Spear, director of Building Infrastructure Delivery at Parallel Technologies. “A key component to that is having a project manager that not only understands the needs of both sides but also knows where the integration needs to happen. At Parallel, Jeff’s focus will be on project managing complex multi-discipline building infrastructure projects, including data center, DAS, security and building controls. His vast experience in building infrastructure technologies makes him an asset in all of our solutions.”

A seasoned project manager, Jungers joins Parallel Technologies after five years at Parson Technologies. As a senior project manager he was responsible for numerous multimillion dollar projects, both local and national. During his tenure there, Jungers developed an expertise in managing multi-scope healthcare projects at level one trauma hospitals and specialty clinics in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Ohio.

In addition to his healthcare expertise, he has managed projects for customers in the public & private sectors, places of worship, warehousing & manufacturing, sports & entertainment and municipalities.

Following his 2006 graduation from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn., Jungers began his career as an account manager at All State Communications. In this role his focus was on implementation of low-voltage cable infrastructure systems. Within a year, Jungers was tapped to lead the development of Integrated Mobilink, the company’s physical security and converged technologies division. In a multi-faceted role, he served as the client interface, managed the project as well as designed the IP and analog security systems.

Jungers lives in Lakeville, Minn. with his wife and three children.
