Chris Pinc joins company as Director of Data Center Operations

MINNEAPOLIS – February 7, 2019 – Parallel Technologies, an industry-leading reliable data center and intelligent building solutions company, has hired industry veteran Chris Pinc to lead the operations of its Data Center Business.

As Director of Data Center Operations, Pinc will oversee the delivery of the company’s Data Center projects and assist clients in developing strategies for data center, migration and managed service.

A well-known technology industry veteran, Pinc brings to Parallel more than 30 years in strategic business and IT consulting. He is an expert in the ever-changing role of data driven decision-making services and strategies.

Pinc joins Parallel Technologies from N’compass, a subsidiary of AlphaPoint Technology. A founding partner of the firm since 2001, he oversaw the company’s big data vision, as well as daily operations and implementation of its long-term strategic plan. Following the company’s acquisition by AlphaPoint Technology in December 2014, Pinc continued on as President and CIO before transitioning out of the company in 2018.

Pinc is a frequent contributor and speaker on topics related to the use and management of big data. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Corporate Finance from Minnesota State University – Moorhead. He lives in Coon Rapids, Minn. with his wife and their six children.
