MHTA Charity Golf Event

This month Parallel Technologies participated in the Minnesota High Tech Association Golf Outing. This was an opportunity to mingle with other industry leading companies in the technology field as well as support the MHTA Foundation’s STEM Scholarship Fund. The MHTA Foundation awards more than ten scholarships each year to Minnesota college students pursuing degrees in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) fields. The event took place Tuesday, July 21st at The Wilds Golf Club in Prior Lake.

“It was a perfect day for golf and a great way for our members to support the next generation of science and technology workers,” said Andrew Wittenborg, MHTA’s director of outreach. “We’re very grateful for the continued support of our work in this area.”

Each year the Tekne Awards shine a spotlight on Minnesota’s technology industry. Drawing our state’s most influential businesses, political leaders and individuals, the Tekne Awards honor advancement in technology areas including advanced manufacturing, information and lifesciences. Parallel was recognized as a finalist in these three areas: Safety and Security, Technology Use and Sustainability, Healthcare Delivery; Small and Growing Companies.
