National Project Coordinator

Brief Description: Parallel Technologies Inc. is looking for a full time National Project Coordinator to work in a fast pace environment. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong problem solving skills, be comfortable learning new tools, possess strong Microsoft Office skills, be attentive to detail, have a basic understanding of accounting/finance, and always be reliable. The National Project Coordinator reports to the National Operations Manager and will work directly with national clients. This position is responsible for receiving move, add change requests, confirming with the requester, securing and scheduling subcontract resources to complete the work, status communication with the and final project billing. National Project Coordinators are responsible for the internal setup of all projects and service tickets including but not limited to: billing; issuing purchase orders for material orders; reviewing vendor and subcontractor invoices for payment; assisting with customer account management; scheduling field technicians; and other daily administrative functions.

Reports To: National Operations Manager

Responsibilities & Skills:

  • Assist Project Manager in setting and managing goals; objectives; of subcontractors.
  • Place materials orders and arrange for delivery.
  • Schedule and oversee national subcontractors for out-of-state projects.
  • Assist in monitoring project efficiency and ensure work meets or exceeds quality standards.
  • Assist Project Manager to ensure that projects are delivered on-time and at or under projected budget.
  • Provide project cost analysis and other information to Project Manager.
  • Reconcile site red-line drawings and prepare project deliverables at the conclusion of a project.
  • Receive and track invoices from subcontractors and vendors for both local and national projects.
  • Perform all month end invoicing.
  • Stay current with evolving technologies and industry trends.

Posting Qualifications:

  • Requires 1 year of applicable experience, cabling, construction or facilities preferred
  • Requires working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Project Management Software
  • Required education High School Diploma, Higher Ed or Technical Education preferred.
